It's working really well! Now when the bell goes off, Jet comes RUNNING to the dresser for a treat. No more barking. He knows the bell means yummies!

That is so neat that you can retire. The doggies will love to have you home with them. We lost out little Coconut about 3 years ago. He was a Maltese Poodle. I still think of him often.

I love watching dogs interact together. Missy our Australian Shepherd got new sister this summer to play with. Kita is just a pup, so Missy took it upon herself to show Kita the ropes. She kept her away from the road by herding Kita back to the house. It's amazing how those farm dogs herd instinctively. In this case it taught Kita to stay away from the road. Good Missy.

Good luck with your new puppy!! Kayloma has beautiful dogs and I really like her rearing practices. I had a Quinn, he's in a pet home, but around 10 1/2 years now and behind my collies.

Thanks Dianne! Yes I prefer the smooths... I'm not as much into the grooming. :) This litter actually has 4 roughs and only 3 smooths, we were hoping for more smoothies but you just never know!

I am so pleased for you!! Kayloma has excellent performance collies, so you and Quinn will have a great future together. I looked into Kayloma too, but they have mostly smooths and I want a rough. They raw feed and no-vax, so that's great too!! Good luck at the agility trial and with Quinn!!

Good point about being free. I am a pro dog walker, and I am happy for people to walk their own dogs, but you know 99% of people (and thats generous) dont do this each day. I went to a community dog training school and they were great and really cheap. There are ways around giving your dog what they need .. you just have to love them enough and commit.
